Mexico City, September 8 (local time) — The China (Zhejiang)-Mexico International Trade Fair grandly opened at the Centro Banamex Convention Center in Mexico City. As a self-organized exhibition program of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce, this year’s Zhejiang Pavilion debuted as a “show-within-a-show” at the 11th China (Mexico) Export Brand Joint Exhibition 2026, hosted by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce and organized by Meorient International Exhibition. The pavilion brings together 50 high-quality enterprises from seven cities — Hangzhou, Wenzhou, Shaoxing, Jinhua, Taizhou, Huzhou and Lishui — occupying 80 booths in the prime area along the hall’s main aisle. With unified raised entrance headers and unified information desk posters, the pavilion presents the innovation and industrial strength of “Quality Zhejiang Goods” in a cohesive brand image, building an efficient platform for Zhejiang enterprises to deepen their presence in the Mexican and broader Latin American markets.

As an integral part of one of the most influential Chinese self-organized B2B professional exhibitions in Mexico and Latin America, the China (Zhejiang)-Mexico International Trade Fair has received strong support from overseas organizations, including the Employers’ Confederation of the Mexican Republic (COPARMEX), the Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade, Investment and Technology (COMCE), the National Association of Importers and Exporters of the Mexican Republic (ANIERM), the Mexico-China Chamber of Commerce and Technology Association, and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). Together, these partners help Zhejiang enterprises seize opportunities in the Latin American market.
Seizing the Nearshoring Wave: Zhejiang Enterprises Go Global in Latin America
As a natural hub connecting the North American and Latin American markets, Mexico stands at the forefront of the global restructuring of industrial chains. Trade facilitation under the USMCA, industrial spillover from multinationals’ “nearshoring” strategies, and the continued expansion of the domestic consumer market are jointly deepening China-Mexico economic and trade cooperation. In the first half of 2026 alone, China-Mexico trade reached USD 57.2 billion, with China’s exports to Mexico amounting to USD 45.47 billion, up 4.8% year on year. Exports are led by electromechanical products, electronic equipment, and automobiles and auto parts — core categories that closely match Mexico’s manufacturing upgrade and infrastructure construction needs.
As a major manufacturing and foreign trade province of China, Zhejiang boasts complete industrial coverage and prominent cluster advantages, which align closely with the demands of the Mexican market. This year’s Zhejiang Pavilion precisely targets the market opportunities created by Mexico’s nearshoring trend and consumption upgrade, organizing 50 high-quality provincial enterprises to go global as a group. Exhibits cover multiple advantageous industries, including home and daily goods, textiles and apparel, home appliances and electronics, building materials and hardware, and outdoor furniture, presenting the full upgraded landscape of “Zhejiang Smart Manufacturing” and helping Zhejiang enterprises win new business opportunities in Latin America.
Centralized Layout, Complete Categories: “Quality Zhejiang Goods” Debuts with a Unified Image
This year, the 50 exhibiting enterprises are centrally located in the prime area along the hall’s main aisle, featuring unified raised entrance headers and unified information desk posters. Presenting the overall “Quality Zhejiang Goods” brand image to global buyers not only enhances the visibility and recognition of the Zhejiang delegation but also makes it easy for buyers to source from quality Zhejiang suppliers in one stop. The exhibitors offer a rich and diverse range of products, showcasing the multi-faceted appeal of “Quality Zhejiang Goods”:

Provincial Department Empowerment: Supporting High-Quality Globalization of Zhejiang Enterprises
This year’s Zhejiang Pavilion is a key initiative of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce in implementing the provincial Party committee and provincial government’s “Sweet Potato Economy” Upgrading Initiative — the No. 1 Opening-Up Project — and marks the concentrated debut of the “Quality Zhejiang Goods” regional brand in the Latin American market. From preparation to on-site execution, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce has provided overall coordination and guidance, meticulously organizing leading enterprises from advantageous provincial industries to exhibit as a group, building a concentrated display window for the “Quality Zhejiang Goods” regional brand going global in Mexico, and integrating product display with industry presentation — leveraging the collective strength of industrial clusters to support Zhejiang enterprises’ high-quality globalization.
To maximize the effectiveness of participation, this year’s Zhejiang Pavilion adheres to the principle of “comprehensive service”, providing all 50 exhibitors with unified, professional services — from booth construction and exhibit transportation to on-site interpretation and buyer matching — ensuring a smooth exhibition experience throughout, and helping every Zhejiang enterprise efficiently connect with buyers and secure on-site orders.
After years of dedicated cultivation, the China (Zhejiang)-Mexico International Trade Fair has become an important platform for Zhejiang enterprises to explore emerging markets. Standing at a new starting point, the China (Zhejiang)-Mexico International Trade Fair will continue to play its role as a bridge, helping more Zhejiang enterprises seize opportunities in the Latin American market and steadily deepening Zhejiang-Mexico economic and trade cooperation. The exhibition runs for three days, through September 10.
